Staff wellbeing for schools
People who understand schools – and the people within them.
Why CHAMP exists
Better schools begin with supported staff.
School life is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Staff are juggling a constant mix of responsibilities, changes and expectations, and it’s not always easy to know how people are really going.
We believe in giving every staff member a confidential voice. When people feel safe to share their experiences, it creates a clearer and more honest picture of what’s happening in your school.
CHAMP Programs interprets these findings and works alongside school leaders to turn insight into practical support and positive, lasting change.

Why CHAMP is different
A more personal approach to staff wellbeing
Every voice matters
Our confidential surveys are designed for all staff, not only teachers. The structure gives everyone an opportunity to provide honest and fair feedback, creating a more complete picture of wellbeing across the school.
Insight, not just data
CHAMP carefully reviews staff comments alongside the graphs and survey results. We provide context, identify important themes and present the key information leaders need to make informed decisions.
Personal support
We work directly with school leaders and communicate with staff throughout the process. This personal approach builds trust, accuracy and engagement, helping encourage strong participation and more meaningful feedback.
The people behind CHAMP
Experience, understanding and personal support
Dave and Craig combine decades of experience supporting employees, working in schools and leading school communities. Together, they bring a personal approach and a practical understanding of the challenges facing school leaders and staff.

Dave Shrowder
Founder
Dave has more than 20 years of experience supporting schools and employees across Australia. His work initially began through helping school staff access income protection and health insurance, which led to a broader focus on how schools can care for and support their people.
Today, Dave works directly with school leaders throughout the CHAMP process, helping them understand the findings, recognise their school’s strengths and consider practical next steps.

Craig Lieschke
Education Consultant
Craig brings 40 years of experience in education, including 23 years as a school principal. He understands the everyday pressures faced by school leaders, staff and their wider communities.
His firsthand leadership experience helps CHAMP turn staff feedback into relevant, practical guidance that reflects the realities of running a school.
